Meet the Founder
Keith Balderaz
A distinguished all-state high school player from Monahans, Texas, earned a scholarship to Eastern New Mexico University, a Division II institution. During his four years with the Greyhounds, he excelled in the bullpen, serving as the closer for three of those years. Balderaz set multiple school records, including being the all-time career saves leader, achieving the most saves in a single season, and maintaining the lowest earned run average of 2.86. In 2006, he was recognized as the #26 closer in the nation among all college closers, and he consistently ranked among the top in appearances within both the Lone Star Conference and ENMU's school history.
After completing his college career, Balderaz transitioned into coaching, working as a private instructor and coach for organizations such as TPX Baseball and Dynasty Baseball in Houston, Texas. In 2010, he relocated back to the Permian Basin, where he continued to coach and even established the TPX ACES program in Midland.
Today, Balderaz is dedicated to player development, employing validated training techniques to enhance athletic performance. He also volunteers on local baseball boards, contributing to the structuring of gameplay and providing guidance to players and coaches.
